MEET MELANIE BLOOM
The Practice.
My creative practice begins with ritual: coffee or herbal tea, a candle or incense and of course, tunes.
This is how I return to myself.
Inspiration finds me in quiet moments. Out in nature or in stillness. From there I find something shifts.
My mind quiets, my body comes alive and I move into a steady and intuitive flow.
I work slowly with care and intention — letting each piece unfold in its own time.
Collect an original, find a print or join me at the workshop table for your own creative practice.
From the Studio
-
Original artworks created from moments of presence, curiosity and creative connection. Often, people feel drawn to a particular piece (this is my favourite part!) — and that personal connection is what gives it meaning in their space.
Each work is one of a kind and available to purchase for your home, office or collection.
-
Limited edition and hand embellished prints created from original artworks with care and attention to detail.
Each piece carries the feeling and essence of the original, while offering its own unique character through texture and hand-finished touches. -
Commissioned artworks created through collaboration, connection and shared ideas.
Whether you have a clear vision or just the beginning of one, each piece is thoughtfully developed to feel personal and meaningful to you.
Creating one-of-a-kind artwork made for your space and story. -
Small, intimate workshops created for creative exploration, expression and connection.
These sessions offer space to slow down, experiment and reconnect with your creativity in a supportive and inspiring space.Whether you’re beginning again or deepening an existing practice; the focus is on process, curiosity and creative freedom.
The Artist.
I’m still unfolding as an artist. I follow a deep pull toward the unseen, the felt and the quietly magical.
I’m drawn to what I can’t always put into words, but can explore through form, texture and movement.
Watercolour is the freedom; fluid and untamed, while graphite brings detail; a sense of grounding and clarity. Somewhere between the two, I find my balance.
My work is a space for expression, exploration and stillness. I create from a strong inner compass and I’m continually moved by the moment someone connects with a particular piece — when it speaks to them in a way only they can understand.
